
Dr. Huizhong Guo is an assistant research scientist in UMTRI’s Human Factors Group. Her research focuses on driver behavior and its implication on transportation safety from the perspective of e.g., driving style, driver distraction and pedestrian safety. She has extensive experience working with naturalistic driving data and laboratory data through statistical and machine learning methods.
Expertise: Human factors, traffic safety, driver behavior analysis, vulnerable road user safety, crash and naturalistic data, statistical analysis, human-automation interaction.
