Responsibilities

Management of projects within the scope of the Center for the Management of Information for Safe and Sustainable Transportation (CMISST) at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute. Projects involve curating, analyzing, and providing access to data related to issues in transportation safety. Working with a team of scientists and engineers, responsibilities include communicating with sponsors, defining project requirements, setting project objectives, managing project budgets and deliverables, developing reports, as well as staff planning and management.

Key Project

Management of “Michigan Traffic Crash Facts” for the Michigan State Police Office of Highway Safety Planning. This yearly compilation and analysis of state-wide crash data is a valuable web tool for government agencies, researchers, and the general public. The award-winning website, MichiganTrafficCrashFacts.org, retains searchable publications, informative links, and innovative data query tools that allow users to execute their own specialized queries.
