Open House

Join UMTRI faculty and Staff as we welcome students back to campus!

Join us on October 5, 2021 from 4-7 for an UMTRI Student Open House!

Past, present and FUTURE student researchers are invited to meet with faculty, tour our labs, and learn more about what we do! UMTRI works with students from all disciplines, and through a variety of mechanisms (UROP, MDP, independent study, capstone projects, and paid positions.)

And there will be FOOD!

Let us know if you’ll be joining us!

Please register by October 1, 2021

UMTRI is at 2901 Baxter Rd., just north of the intersection of Hubbard and Huron Parkway. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Robotics building. For UM bus, nearest stop is on Hubbard just east or west of Huron Parkwy.

Automated Technology

Tours of UMTRI labs will be every 20 minutes

Tours will include the UMTRI Sled Lab, Traffic Safety Lab, automated wheelchair docking demo, and Instrumented Vehicles used in the latest connected and automated vehicle research.

Tours of Mcity will be at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
