Learn about urban transport, safety, and global warming

On June 18, Professor Dinesh Mohan, a visiting research scientist with UMTRI's Human Factors Division, will present "Urban Transport, Safety, and Global Warming: Issues and Concerns" at noon in UMTRI's McCormick Conference Room. Reservations are not required.

Mohan is widely acknowledged as the leading Indian traffic safety researcher. He comes to UMTRI from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where is the Volvo chair professor for biomechanics and transportation safety, the coordinator of the Transportation Research and Injury Prevention Programme, and the head of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Research and Training in Safety Technology.
