UMTRI biosciences paper wins Mimics Innovation Award

Materialise is proud to announce the winners of the Mimics Innovation Awards for 2015.
The UMTRI paper “Developing Parametric Human Models Representing Various Vulnerable Populations in Motor Vehicle Crashes” is among the six winning papers. The paper won Best Article Award: North & South America. Authors are Jingwen Hu (UMTRI) Katelyn F. Klein (UMTRI), Zhigang Li, Jonathan D. Rupp (UMTRI), and Matthew P. Reed (UMTRI).
The Mimics Innovation Suite of software has become an industry standard for processing and editing anatomical data from CT and MRI scans and 3D ultrasound. Incorporating anatomical data is an important component in evidence-based R&D.
