Macy, Rupp to present seminar on transportation-related injury

Please join the U-M Injury Center on Monday, May 16, from noon to 1 p.m. in UMTRI's McCormick conference room for a lunchtime seminar on transportation-related injury. Speakers will offer two different perspectives:
Michelle Macy, MD, MS, clinical lecturer, U-M Department of Emergency Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Child Health Evaluation and Research Unit, will speak on the topic "Child Passenger Safety in the ED, A National Perspective from Pediatric and General Emergency Physicians."
Jonathan Rupp, PhD, assistant research scientist in the UMTRI Biosciences Group and research assistant professor, U-M Department of Emergency Medicine, will present "Past, Current, and Future Effects of Motor Vehicle Safety Technologies on Death and Injury in Motor Vehicle Crashes, including Demographic Trends."
