UMTRI Library Reference Service

The UMTRI Library provides a reference service for UMTRI staff and other members of the transportation research community, as well as the general public. Its collection includes more than 110,000 items and more than 210 periodicals. The subject areas of the collection reflect the many different ways in which transportation problems can be approached, with materials drawn from the literature of engineering, physics, medicine, public health, law, economics, psychology, sociology, computer science, and other fields. The library does not offer an interlibrary loan service, but will provide photocopies for a fee and offers global document delivery services.

Pricing & Shipping

Prices are set on a per-page basis. In many cases we must charge an additional fee for Copyright Clearance Center compliance. Please call 734-764-2171 or email umtridocs@umich.edu for a quote. Shipping charges: $3.00 per 150 pages for first-class postage. We will ship UPS, FedEx, DHL, or Airborne Express if the customer provides us with an account number for one of these services.
