Statewide Survey of Florida Safety Belt Use

The University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI) has agreed to continue existing work in the state of Florida to assess ongoing efforts to increase safety belt use statewide. The current study will involve the planning, conduct, and reporting of results from two direct observation survey waves surrounding the Click It or Ticket (CIOT) safety belt campaign. A baseline survey wave will be conducted before CIOT activities begin and a follow-up survey will begin at the conclusion of the campaign.
