This project is supported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to determine the primary rollover scenarios for heavy trucks, and to estimate the likelihood that a stability control system will address different rollover sequences. TSA researchers will develop pre-crash scenarios that will likely benefit from stability enhancing technologies, and estimate the safety benefits for each type of stability system evaluated.
