Luis G. Guzmán

Luis M. Guzmán, Dr. Guzman is an Assistant Research Scientist with the Automotive Analysis Division at the Transportation Research Institute and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering. Dr Guzmán received his B.S. from Monterrey Institute of Technology and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from The University of Michigan. Prior to joining AAD, Dr. Guzmán worked for Duroplast in Naucalpan, México where he served as both a Logistics Engineer in supply chain management and a Product Engineer for new programs. At U of M, his research has focused on developing multivariate approaches for dimensional variation reduction during automotive body process validation. He has been a lead investigator for several research projects on manufacturing systems, tolerance analysis and non-contact measurement systems. He is an instructor for various courses in quality engineering at the University of Michigan.
