Adam Blankespoor

Dr. Adam Blankespoor is a postdoctoral fellow in UMTRI's Engineering Research Division. His primary research interests include modeling, data analysis, and advanced controls. His is currently involved in the Integrated Vehicle-Based Saftey Systems (IVBSS) program.

Dr. Blankespoor received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah, and his B.S.E. degree from Dordt College. His doctoral dissertation dealt with the modeling and control of focused ultrasound for use in a thermal cancer treatment.
