Safety Pilot Model Deployment Launch

UMTRI researchers and the U.S. Department of Transportation have set Aug. 21 as the launch date for a year-long test being conducted in Ann Arbor of a wireless communications system designed to improve vehicle safety.

Parking for August 21 Media Event

The Safety Pilot Model Deployment media event is scheduled for 10 a.m. on the 21st at UMTRI.

Parking at UMTRI will be limited to media. All guests should park on the west side of Huron Parkway, south of Plymouth Road. Signs will direct you where to park. Shuttles will deliver guests to the event site. Please add an extra 15 minutes to your travel time.
