SMART announces MobiPrize winners 2012

SMART is proud to announce the two Judge's Choice award winners of the MobiPrize, an award recognizing entrepreneurial ventures in sustainable transportation. The winners are Zambikes, a social business that manufactures, assembles and distributes high-quality bicycles to the underprivileged in Zambia, and Hangzhou Omnipay Co. Ltd., a company specializing in transport-sharing projects designed for the urban poor.
MobiPrize was created by SMART with support from the Rockefeller Foundation to recognize innovative entrepreneurial ventures in sustainable transportation. MobiPrize entries came from all parts of the world, showcasing a diverse range of innovations in the field of mobility.
