Sustainable societies: U.S. and China must work together

The United States and China must work together to tackle one of the biggest challenges of the 21st century: how to develop sustainable societies. That was the message from several speakers at the two-day conference "Developing Global Sustainability - U.S./China Partnerships," held May 20-21 at the University of Michigan. UMTRI was one of several conference sponsors.
