Woodrooffe speaks at briefing on commercial truck weight limit

John Woodrooffe, head of UMTRI's Vehicle Safety Analytics Group, spoke at a public briefing on March 2 in Washington, D.C. on the potential benefits from making the Safe and Efficient Transportation Act (SETA) into law. The bill gives each state the option to raise its interstate weight limit for trucks equipped with an additional axle to a maximum of 97,000 pounds.
