UMTRI to work with MDOT on new ITS research

UMTRI researchers are working with engineers from the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) research. The work is part of a new collaboration between MDOT and engineers in Taiwan. The collaboration may some day lead to in-vehicle devices that would provide drivers with information about signalized intersections. Read the MDOT Press Release.
