University Research Corridor starts transportation research program

UMTRI Director Peter Sweatman is quoted in Crain's Detroit Business on a new transportation research consortium started by the University Research Corridor.
The University Research Corridor is a coalition comprised of Michigan State University, the University of Michigan, and Wayne State University. The URC made the announcement in a March 3 press release that said the goal of the new program is "to transform the regional, state, national and, ultimately, global transportation industries."
