Long-term reliability key to reinventing the auto industry

Bruce Belzowski of UMTRI's
Automotive Analysis Division
(AAD) was recently interviewed
on CNBC about the future of
the automotive industry.

In the interview, which took place
at Chrysler's Warren Truck
Assembly Plant, Bruce dis-
cussed what U.S. carmakers
can do to increase their market
share, especially with people who have previously owned foreign cars. He said the Big 3 primarily need to improve the long-term reliability and fuel efficiency of their vehicles.
