Driving while texting is dangerous and deadly

A recent Fox 2 Detroit newscast investigated the dangers of texting while driving. Fox reporter Kerry Birmingham visited Paul Green and Jason Schweitzer at UMTRI to learn more about this phenomenon.

A volunteer young driver drove in UMTRI's driving simulator while attempting to send text messages, and she ran off the road.
