Seat Belt Fit
UMTRI researchers have expertise in developing methods and tools for evaluating how seat belts fit the range of motor-vehicle occupants. Studies include assessing seat-belt fit for pregnant women throughout gestation, studying belt fit of older children with and without booster seats, and investigating the ability of the elderly to don seat belts.
