The NASS CDS data sets for calendar year 2004 document 5,597 crashes (with 3,039 of them involving two vehicles), 10,000 vehicles, and 12,275 occupants suffering 30,839 injuries.

Please note that the 2004 data has changed as follows: Interior Vehicle Records, Occupant Assesment Records and Occupant Injury Records are no longer collected for non-towed CDS applicable vehicles with air bag deployments.
