The data sets document 37,795 crashes (with 13,689 of them involving two vehicles), 57,800 vehicles, 94,512 occupants and 6,442 nonmotorists.

A new variable for Died at Scene/En Route (V332) has been split out from the variable Occupant Taken to Hospital at the occupant level, and the same is true for Died at Scene/En Route at the nonmotorist level (V432). Please be alert to renumbering of variables from 332 to 346 and 432 to 446.
