The NASS CDS data sets for calendar year 2009 document 5,200 crashes, 9,548 vehicles, and 11,027 occupants suffering 17,173 injuries.

NHTSA made a number of changes to CDS variables (including their renumbering.) Please reference the NASS CDS Analytic User's Manual 2009 or the NASS CDS Coding and Editing Manual 2009: 2009 NASS CDS Manuals
