The 2001 Texas census accident file documents 323,958 accidents involving 591,638 vehicles that contain 713,316 occupants. The pedestrian/pedalcyclist file contains 7,726 records. The large truck file documents 88,143 accidents involving 179,072 vehicles that contain 214,552 occupants. Files and file structure remain consistent with prior years.
